Day 01: Arrivalin Jammu followed by Katra (45 kms)
Your arrival in Jammu will be followed by transfer to a hotel in Katra, check in to the hotel, have some rest and later proceed to Vaishno Devi by walk and Pony. After your Holy Darshan at the Divine Vaishno Devi returning to Katra is the best option for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 02: From Katrato Pahalgam
Today’s morning after breakfast you proceed towards Pahalgam and check into a hotel. En route witness the grand saffron fields covering miles and miles and also the magnificent Avantipura ruins of a grand historic Temple. This place is famous for many Bollywood movie shootings. During the time you reach Pahalgam it will be close to noon, have lunch and check-in. We advise to take some rest and then wander in the natural charm of Pahalgam.
Today day enjoy your fill in this place. Enjoy the natural beauty of Pahalgam and various activities ranging from horse riding to climbing. Also referred to asmini Switzerland. Betaab Valley of Pahalgam is very rich in natural breathtaking views and quite a visiting place especially for couples or travel groups. Also, the weather in summer is quite pleasant as compared to the Indian sub-continent. One can even visit the gorgeous rocky valleys of Chandanwadi and Snow Point along with an exciting pony ride. On your way back explore the evergreen forests besides River Lidder and conclude your day with dinner and an overnight peaceful stay.Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: From Pahalgam to Srinagar
After breakfast in Pahalgam the cab outside your hotel will transfer you to Gulmarg. The drive itself is fun and scenic all the way to your destination. Drive on straight roads, pass through the country side, open fields and witness the magnificence of Indian Himalayan range on the way to Srinagar.
Asyou arrive check in to the house boat. Relax and get freshened up and later during the day enjoy a Shikara ride on The Dal Lake and witness the natural magnificence that God has graced this city with. You will get view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 05: Exploring Srinagar and the Mughal Gardens
The next day witness the beautiful morning as the Sun shines overs the glistening waters of Dal Lake. After breakfast proceed for a tour of this city. The world famous Mughal Gardens are the best in Asia and also the magnificent Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, the Chashmi Shahi Gardens, and overlooking the city of Srinagar the Shankaracharya Temple. As the day comes to an end return to the houseboat, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: From Srinagar to Sonamarg and return.
The ‘Meadow of Gold’, this scenic hill station of Sonamarg is situated at a height of 9,000 ft. above sea level and is one of the most popular and main visited destinations in Jammu and Kashmir. Nestled in the beautiful Sindh Valley and is surrounded with sky-high mountain peaks. This place also serves as the base camp for many outdoor camping, mountaineering and trekking activities.
Have some light meals as you feel and take a pony ride to the Thajwas Glacier. Enjoy walking and gliding on this snow mass. Total fun! Post this, you will be driven back to Srinagar for your dinner and overnight stay in the hotel or houseboat.
Day 07: From Srinagar to Gulmarg
Known to be the best skiing destination in the entire country, this hill station of Gulmarg, is also home to the highest golf course (18 holes) in the world. Be a part of a dozen more activities including Snow Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross-Country skiing, ice-skating, snow walks (in Winters) In summers the verdant meadows and the tree-lines are fun for various other activities like horse riding, zorbing, nature walks, trekking, camping etc.
Gulmarg Gondola cruising all the way up till Mount Affarwat is world’shighest ropeway and running parallel is the Chair Car lift going up till 13,500 ft. till Mary’s Shoulder.
Dinner and overnight stay will be one of the coziest places of Gulmarg.
Day 08: Gulmarg - Srinagar – Drop
After breakfast is served, be ready to check out and keep in check your flight status. The distance till Srinagar International Airport will be covered in almost 2 ½ hours and we also request our esteem clients to reach the airport 90 minutes early, as per the airline schedule.
