• Day 05: Pahalgam – Gulmarg (100 km in 3 Hours).
• Day 06: Gulmarg – Srinagar (60 km in 2 ½ Hours).
• Day 07: Departure from Srinagar.

Long Itinerary:

Schedule:On arrival, our representative will receive you outside the airport and transfer you to your respective house boat on Dal Lake. After checking in you can rest for a while and plan your day’s schedule. There are lot of activities and sightseeing one can undertake in this beautiful city. At the end of the day enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your houseboat. Activities we prefer:

• The scenic beauty of Dal Lake along the Boulevard Road.
• Char Chinari amidst Dal Lake and Nehru Park.
• Shikara Rides in the evening.

Day Schedule: Today morning, after having breakfast at the hotel or in houseboat, you will be driven to Sonamarg. The drive will be completed in approximately 3 Hours. The ‘Meadow of Gold’, this scenic hill station is situated at a height of 9,000 ft. above sea level and is one of the most popular and main visited destinations in Jammu and Kashmir. Laced with numerouscaptivating mountain peaks and vibrant flowery meadows, this place is perfect for outings and excursions to spend some time in solace in the lap of nature.
On your arrival in Sonamarg, which is also the basecamp for several Himalayan treks like the Great Lakes trek and othersone can hire a pony and ride up to the magnificent Thajwas Glacier. Witness and adore the wonderful views all around the glacier and by evening, drive back to Srinagar; dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel/houseboat.

[Sonamarg also serves as our basecamp for many high altitude expeditions including the Great Lakes Trek] Day Schedule: After today’s breakfast in the houseboat or at the hotel, we take an enthralling drive through the scenic trials that connects Srinagar and Pahalgam; on the way one can witness the awesome saffron bowls, the magnificent Avantipura pre-historic ruins, the AnantnagSulphur Springs and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. At Khanabal we drive through the second largest city of Anantnag and from here the road turns altogether scenic as we drive parallel on the famous River Lidder flowing from the opposite direction. Also known as the ‘Valley of the Shepherds’, Pahalgam is one of the most picturesque and popular hill stations in the whole country.
After your arrival in Pahalgam, you will be checked-in into a hotel, where you can dinner and spend the night.

Day 4:   Pahalgam Sightseeing:

Day Schedule: In the morning, after having breakfast in the hotel, one can visit the attractive and rocky valleys of Chandanwadi, the astounding Snow Point which is located around 14km from Pahalgam and also a pony ride to add icing to the cake. Though all these activities can only be arranged at an additional cost, but the experience will surely last long in the deepest corners of your memories. Betaab valley is awesome to wanderlust and is famous for its breathtaking views and is also a modest place especially for new-comers, couples and family. Also enjoy the fast gushing waters of River Lidder and take some good photographs to document your travel mania. Completing these adventurous calls, drive back to Pahalgam and spend the rest of the day at ease. By the second half of the day, take a walk through the dense pine forest alongside the Lidder River and extend your Pahalgam experience further. As the day comes to an end enjoy your dinner at the hotel and have a good night’s sleep.

Day 5:  Drive from Pahalgam to Gulmarg (140 km / 3 Hours)

Day Schedule: For this day we tend to start early due to considerable longer distance to cover. After today’s delicious breakfast at your hotel in Pahalgam, you will be driven to the enchanting hill station of Gulmarg. The drive itself is fun and scenic all the way to your destination. The best skiing destination in the entire country, this hill station is also the home to the highest golf course (18 holes) in the world. Be a part of a dozen more activities including Snow Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross-Country skiing, ice-skating, snow walks (in Winters) In summers the verdant meadows and the tree-lines are fun for various other activities like horse riding, zorbing, nature walks, trekking, camping etc.
On arrival in Gulmarg, embark on a short, yet fun filled trek or hire a pony right up till the lush flat top of Khilanmarg just in the lap of Mount Affarwat. If you don’t like that much walking then be a part of the world’s highest Gondola ride and enjoy the bird’s eye view of this valley.
The gondola ride will take you way up to Mount Affarwat at 14,000 ft. above sea level. A short trek till Frozen Lake can also be accomplished above 14,000 ft. just be sure to take a local guide with you. During the day, you can also enjoy the Chair Lift ride from Khilanmarg to Mary’s Shoulder at around 13,500 ft.After you return from your adventure dinner and overnight stay will be in a hotel.

Day 6:  Gulmarg to Srinagar (60 km in 2 Hours)

Day Schedule: After having breakfast in the Gulmarg hotel, you will be driven back to the capital city Srinagar. Today the visiting schedule is reserved for the beautiful Mughal Gardens, CheshmaShahi or the ‘Royal Spring’, PariMahal or the ‘Palace of the Fairies’, Shalimar Garden or the ‘Garden of Love’, Nishat Garden or the ‘Garden of Pleasure’ and Shankaracharya Temple way atop the hill overlooking the whole city in bird’s eye view.Further to increase the exciting tour visit the scenic Tulip Garden in the lap of Zabarwan Hills. As the day comes to an end and if time spares one can even pay a visit to the Handicraft Emporium, to purchase or explore the various arts and cultures of Jammu and Kashmir; later dinner and overnight stay will be in a hotel.

Day 7:   Departure from Srinagar

Day Schedule: Today, as the last day of this exotic tour to Kashmir comes to an end. After having breakfast in the hotel, you will finally be transported at the railway station or the airport. With this we wish you the very best for your further ventures.
